💙 12” x 12” winter wonder of long shadows resin layered on glass with steel backing to allow the piece to float in space. (Sold). Sheesh, I’ve gone through the longest blue phase...
Look for little paintings on glass and wrapped in steel frames by @katierayrich popping up next week @assemblenorthampton. Little blue is 6”x6” and found a home last weekend during open studios, but once I get a little break for a week, I’ll be back to talking paints into making little buddies for the holiday season. 💙
One more time cuz I love these babies. (Sold) 24”x24” resin layered painting on repurposed window pane.💙🖤🔥🖤💙
Yes you were! And recreate too! 🖤
On this day is the birthday of My momma. Coming in at 5ft nothing, she’s my champion. She teaches me to stand up to my battles. We don’t run. We don’t hide. She has taught me so much about confronting the hard shit and moving forward. I come from a family who has worked with and beyond addiction. This disease affects millions of us and it has the potential to tear apart families. Once faced, this disease also acts to rebuild and fortify. It’s a miracle how the hard stuff turns to blessings. We can never run from death, disease, and our shadow sides, but we can own and embrace them, they become a place of learning, substance, and strength. Here’s to my warriors near and far, facing our demons and owning our shit. The creative practice I’ve had has helped me process through the years. It is the place I draw cups of Hope and I have it because of the people who came before me. Mom, I love you more than words could ever express and I’m so grateful for you and these brothers I get to call mine. @cuomopeter & @gabe_cuomo. We will never be perfect, and that’s not the point anyway.
Even hummies rest 💚 8x8 steel framed glass and resin layered buddy that was a little commission for a little while ago. #hummylove #restday
I still opened my studio today for Open Studios so folks can come pick up their paintings and I get to say helloooo. :) studio #412 of the Arts & Industry Building in Florence, MA
Some of the best parts about open studios is when I get to see people engage with their new art. It was done solo and then it suddenly takes a whole new life in the hands of someone new. Love it. Little nightingale’s. ❤️
A new 20”x20” that has found its forever home during open studios today. So much has flown the coop already that I will not be open tomorrow, so hope to see you today if you’re around!
