What inspired ART GYM?

A creative life is for everyone and yet the time and space to cut out time for this endeavor is often elusive if you don't have a space to get things dirty and bounce ideas off of others. Art Gym has risen out of the need to create a space for creative growth in painting, drawing, sculpture, and perhaps other projects. I want to help you problem solve. Art Gym is your space to sit with peers, create, experiment, and make things with your hands with guidance and support. Maybe your itching to make something; your painting, your sculpture, your drawings and stories, or even an hand-made gift. If you've been stuck and wondering how to start your project, start here.

Who's it for?

The Art Gym is made for makers! If you're itching to work on a painting, sculpture, have a place to work out your creative pursuits with some help, you're welcome here. To sign up, pick the day you want to come in to work below. Each class is three hours. Here's some things you can expect to see at the art gym.

The studio is located at 221 Pine Street in Florence.
We are on the forth floor: Suite 412

How to Sign Up !

Art Gym's current schedule is every Thursday from 5PM to 8PM. When you purchase a slot you are choosing a single three hour slot for the week indicated. There are six spots open each week. If you are able to sign up for a slot that means there is still an open spot. Note: If you would like to sign up for more than one week at a time, please email scout here: scoutcuomo@gmail.com.

What to expect when you sign up

We will work together to see what you need and how much. Your payment will reserve you a spot for class on a Thursday. I will work with each person individually as they need help, but it is gentle guidance and not an intensive class. Cost of materials are not included in this workshop time, but can be purchased if you need them in studio. Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing what you make!
